Augi Ventures LLC (“AV,” “we,” “us”) operates augi.co and related services. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

Information you provide

• email address when you sign up for product updates, beta access, or newsletters
• name, if you choose to provide it
• any information you include in messages sent to us

Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser type, device type, operating system
• pages visited, time on page, referrer URL
• click and scroll behavior (via PostHog analytics)
• session recordings with all form inputs masked (via PostHog)

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial data, health data, biometric data, or government identifiers through this site.

• send you product updates, beta invitations, and occasional emails you signed up for
• understand how people use the site so we can improve it
• identify and fix bugs using session recordings (inputs are masked)
• respond to your messages

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build profiles for ad targeting.

We use the following services to operate the site. Each processes data on our behalf:

• Convex — database where subscriber records are stored
• PostHog — product analytics, session recording, feature flags
• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery

These providers have their own privacy policies. We select providers that offer strong data protection practices and, where applicable, are compliant with GDPR and CCPA.

We use first-party cookies and localStorage for analytics (PostHog). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

PostHog stores a cookie and localStorage entry to:

• distinguish unique visitors
• remember session context across pages
• link anonymous sessions to your email if you voluntarily provide it (for example, signing up for beta access)

You can block cookies through your browser settings. Some site features may not work correctly without them.

When you visit the site without providing your email, your activity is tracked anonymously. We cannot identify you personally from this data alone.

If you voluntarily submit your email, we link your anonymous browsing session to your email address. This helps us understand what content is useful and improve the experience.

You can opt out of tracking at any time by blocking cookies in your browser or contacting legal@augi.co to request deletion of your data.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• correct inaccurate data
• delete your personal data
• port your data to another service
• opt out of email marketing (unsubscribe link in every email)
• opt out of analytics tracking (browser cookie settings or contact us)

For EU/EEA residents (GDPR)

Our legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interest (site analytics) and consent (email signup). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For California residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@augi.co. We will respond within 30 days.

Subscriber data is retained as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, we mark your record as inactive. You may request full deletion at any time.

Analytics data is retained per the default retention policies of PostHog. Session recordings are automatically deleted after 90 days.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

This site is not directed at anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact legal@augi.co and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
