i’ve always been drawn to the same question: what actually helps people perform at a high level, and what gets in the way? i started my career in baseball analytics, where the job was to understand player performance and outcomes. over time, my work shifted from just looking at the numbers to helping coaches actually use them. that naturally pulled me into the people side of things, and eventually into people analytics at companies like figma, wayfair, and sonos.

then AI showed up, and i got obsessed. it felt like the start of something genuinely bigger than just another tool. the old playbooks were breaking. i found myself spending more and more time building with it, testing its limits, and using it to stretch what i could do on my own. things were suddenly possible that just weren’t before.

that’s what led me to start augi ventures. i wanted to bring what i was experiencing to the People teams that needed it most. everything we build for clients gets pressure-tested here first. this business runs on the same agents and automations we ship.
